Schweddy Sweet and Spicy Meatballs

honey
1/4 cup
soy sauce

chili sauce

sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, grated Parmesan, and egg. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

Add chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to the meat mixture. Mix again until thoroughly incorporated.

Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.

Place the meatballs on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.

While the meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce by mixing honey, soy sauce, and chili sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

Once cooked, toss the meatballs in the sauce until they are nicely coated.
