Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

Melt butter in a skillet over medium. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic, and cook until softened, about 2 minutes.

Add flour and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture smells nutty, about 1 minute. Stir in cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper.

Gradually stir in broth and continue to cook until thickened and smooth, about 3 minutes.

Add chicken, beans, cream cheese, salsa verde, and chiles. Stir until cream cheese is melted, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and cool for 10 minutes.

Roll pie crust into an 11-inch circle. Place crust over filling in skillet. Cut slits into top of pie crust to allow steam to escape.

Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 30 to 35 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
