Turkey Thighs in Brown Sauce
Ingredients

turkey thighs

salt and pepper
1/2 cup
all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon
poultry seasoning
2 tablespoons
olive oil

onion, sliced
1 (8 ounce)
package sliced mushrooms
2 cloves
garlic, crushed
1 cup
chicken broth
1/2 (10.75 ounce)
can cream of chicken soup
2 tablespoons
dry sherry
1 1/2 teaspoons
dried oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons
dried parsley
1 teaspoon
garlic powder
Instructions
STEP 1
Rinse turkey thighs and pat dry.
STEP 2
Season with salt and pepper.
STEP 3
Combine flour and poultry seasoning in a bowl.
STEP 4
Dredge thighs in flour mixture, shake off excess.
STEP 5
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
STEP 6
Brown turkey thighs for 5 minutes on each side.
STEP 7
Add onion, mushrooms, and garlic; stir until soft.
STEP 8
In a bowl, whisk together chicken broth, soup, and sherry.
STEP 9
Stir in oregano, parsley, and garlic powder.
STEP 10
Pour mixture over turkey; cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
STEP 11
Ensure thighs reach 165°F (74°C) internally.
STEP 12
Slice thighs and serve with sauce.
