The Casserole
Ingredients
8 large
Potatoes, peeled and chopped
1 pound
Lean ground beef
1/2 cup
Chopped onion
1 can
Carrots, drained (15 ounce)
1 can
Green beans, drained (15 ounce)
1 can
Cream of mushroom soup (10.5 ounce)
1 can
Condensed tomato soup (10.5 ounce)
3/4 cup
Shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
STEP 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a baking dish.
STEP 2
Boil salted water in a large saucepan. Cook potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash.
STEP 3
In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef with onion until browned, 7 to 10 minutes. Drain fat.
STEP 4
Stir in carrots, green beans, and soups into beef mixture. Transfer to the baking dish. Spread mashed potatoes on top and sprinkle with cheese.
STEP 5
Bake for about 30 minutes until potatoes are golden brown.
