Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Pat the shrimp dry and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in the skillet. Add half the shrimp and cook until golden pink, about 2 minutes per side. Transfer the shrimp to a bowl. Melt another tablespoon of butter and cook the remaining shrimp.
STEP 3
Return the skillet to medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter, then add garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
STEP 4
Stir in white wine and lemon juice. Increase heat to high and boil until thickened, about 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in remaining butter and parsley. Toss shrimp in sauce and serve with crusty bread or pasta.
