Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with a wire rack.
STEP 2
Toss asparagus, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Spread in a single layer on baking sheet. Roast for 10 to 12 minutes.
STEP 3
Spread Parmesan in a nonstick skillet. Cook until melted and golden, then flip to cook second side. Transfer to a rack to cool. Break into crumbles and mix with lemon zest and pepper.
STEP 4
Squeeze lemon juice over asparagus and top with crumbled cheese mixture.
