The Best Pulled Pork
Ingredients
1 to 2 tablespoons
chipotle chile powder
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon
kosher salt
1 tablespoon
Hungarian paprika
2 teaspoons
garlic powder
2 teaspoons
onion powder
2 teaspoons
black pepper
1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons
dark brown sugar
4 pounds
boneless pork butt
1 cup
barbecue sauce
1 cup
apple cider
3/4 cup
ketchup
1 tablespoon
Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon
Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
STEP 1
Mix the spices for the rub.
STEP 2
Coat the pork with spice rub.
STEP 3
Let pork sit at room temperature for 1 hour.
STEP 4
Preheat oven to 275 degrees F.
STEP 5
Mix barbecue sauce with apple cider and other ingredients.
STEP 6
Place pork in the sauce and bring to a boil.
STEP 7
Cover and bake for 3 to 3.5 hours until tender.
STEP 8
Reserve sauce and shred pork in remaining sauce.
STEP 9
Serve on toasted rolls with coleslaw.
