The Best Garlic Bread

Ingredients
1 1/2 sticks
unsalted butter
4 cloves
garlic, finely chopped
1 large
soft Italian or French loaf
1/4 cup
grated Parmesan
to taste
Kosher salt
2 tablespoons
flat-leaf parsley leaves, finely chopped
Instructions
STEP 1
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
STEP 2
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 3 minutes.
STEP 3
Slice bread in half, brush crust with garlic butter. Turn cut-side up, slice crosswise at 2-inch intervals without cutting through.
STEP 4
Brush cut sides with remaining garlic butter, transfer to a baking sheet.
STEP 5
Sprinkle with Parmesan and salt; bake until golden brown, about 10 to 15 minutes. Top with parsley and serve warm.
