The Best Chicken Noodle Soup
Ingredients

pounds chicken leg quarters

whole black peppercorns

sprigs rosemary

sprigs thyme

bay leaf

sprigs flat-leaf parsley
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Spices and Seasonings
4 ounces
wide egg noodles
Instructions
STEP 1
Add chicken and whole vegetables to pot
STEP 2
Remove chicken, strain stock, and return to pot
STEP 3
Cut remaining vegetables and simmer
STEP 4
Cook noodles in salted water
STEP 5
Shred chicken, add back to pot, and season
