The Best Baked Salmon

light brown sugar

paprika
1/2 teaspoon
garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon
cayenne pepper

Kosher salt

1/4 cup
panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup
parsley leaves
2 tablespoons
unsalted butter
1 1/2 pounds
skin-on salmon fillet
1 tablespoon
Dijon mustard
Instructions
STEP 1
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil.
STEP 2
Mix the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
STEP 3
In another bowl, mix the panko with the parsley, butter, 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt, and black pepper.
STEP 4
Place the salmon skin-side down on the baking sheet. Spread the Dijon over it.
STEP 5
Press the brown sugar mixture onto the salmon then top with the breadcrumb mixture.
STEP 6
Crimp the foil edges to create a border. Bake until breadcrumbs are golden and salmon flakes, about 15 to 18 minutes. Cut into portions for serving.
