Soft Dinner Rolls
Ingredients
1 cup
whole milk
2 packets
Platinum Yeast
2 tablespoons
granulated sugar
1 large
egg
1/4 cup
unsalted butter
1 teaspoon
salt
3 cups
all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons
honey
2 tablespoons
melted butter (optional topping)
Instructions
STEP 1
Whisk warm milk, yeast, and sugar.
STEP 2
Mix in remaining sugar, egg, butter, salt, and flour.
STEP 3
Knead dough until smooth and elastic.
STEP 4
Place dough in greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled.
STEP 5
Shape dough into rolls and place in greased baking pans.
STEP 6
Cover rolls and let rise again until puffy.
STEP 7
Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and bake rolls until golden brown.
STEP 8
Brush optional topping of melted butter and honey on warm rolls.
