Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté chicken until browned, about 4 minutes. Remove and set aside.

Do not clean the pan! Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add chicken broth, scrape, and simmer for 5 minutes. Add pasta, stir, and simmer for 8 minutes.

Stir in warm cream and chicken. Cover and simmer until pasta is tender, about 4 more minutes.

Stir in Parmesan, adjust seasonings, and serve hot.
