Sausage-Mushroom Chicken
Ingredients
1 link
sweet Italian sausage
2 pieces
skin-on chicken breasts
1 pinch
salt
1 pinch
black pepper
1 pinch
cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons
olive oil
1.5 cups
beech mushrooms
1 piece
red onion
1/2 cup
white wine
2 tablespoons
cold butter
2 tablespoons
fresh parsley
Instructions
STEP 1
Cook sausage in skillet over medium heat.
STEP 2
Let sausage cool, then refrigerate.
STEP 3
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
STEP 4
Season chicken with salt, pepper, cayenne.
STEP 5
Sear chicken skin-side down in skillet.
STEP 6
Dice cooled sausage and prepare mushrooms.
STEP 7
Flip chicken and sear other side briefly.
STEP 8
Cook onion, sausage, and mushrooms until brown.
STEP 9
Return chicken to skillet; bake 15 minutes.
STEP 10
Drizzle sauce over chicken and garnish.
