Reuben Bake with Layers

Ingredients

refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 lb
sliced corned beef
2 cups
shredded Swiss cheese

can sauerkraut (14-ounce)
1/2 cup
Thousand Island dressing

1 teaspoon
caraway seeds (optional)
1 tablespoon
melted butter
Instructions

Unroll the crescent roll dough and lay it in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, pressing the seams together to form a crust.

Layer the sliced corned beef evenly over the dough.

Spread the drained sauerkraut over the corned beef.

Sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese over the sauerkraut.

In a small bowl, mix the Thousand Island dressing with the beaten egg and caraway seeds (if using).

Pour the dressing mixture evenly over the cheese layer.

Roll out the second can of crescent roll dough and place it on top, sealing the edges.

Brush the top with melted butter.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
