Heat olive oil in a large pot; fry plantains and potatoes until crisp, 5 to 7 minutes. Remove and set aside.

In the same oil, cook onion and garlic until translucent, about 5 to 7 minutes. Add chicken and chorizo; season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
STEP 3
Pour enough water to cover chicken; bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes. Add tomatoes, cover, and cook another 10 minutes. Stir in plantains, potatoes, garbanzo beans, and cabbage. Cook until cabbage is wilted, about 5 more minutes. Serve hot.
