Instructions
STEP 1
Combine ingredients in pan and bring to a boil: In a large straight-sided skillet, combine linguine, cherry tomatoes, sliced onion, garlic, red-pepper flakes, basil, olive oil, salt, pepper, and water. Bring to a boil over high heat.
STEP 2
Cook, stirring: Stir and turn pasta frequently with tongs until pasta is al dente and water has nearly evaporated, about 9 minutes.
STEP 3
Season and serve: Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper, divide among bowls, and garnish with basil. Serve with olive oil and Parmesan cheese.
