Cook bacon in skillet until crisp, about 8 minutes. Drain on paper towels; crumble when cool. Reserve drippings.

Add olive oil to drippings; heat for 1 minute. Add escarole; cook and stir for 4 minutes. Add garlic; cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add beans and broth; season with red pepper. Simmer for 7 minutes. Serve topped with bacon and Parmesan.
