Instructions

In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and minced garlic, sauté until soft.

Stir in ground beef, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes.

In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, and parsley.

In a baking dish, spread some meat sauce on the bottom. Layer with noodles, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella cheese.

Repeat layers, ending with meat sauce and mozzarella cheese on top.

Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes until bubbly.

Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
