Instant Pot Pot Roast
Ingredients
1 teaspoon
salt
1 teaspoon
dried marjoram
1 teaspoon
dried rosemary
1 teaspoon
garlic powder
1 teaspoon
onion powder
1/2 teaspoon
ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon
paprika
3 pounds
beef chuck roast
1 tablespoon
vegetable oil
1 pound
baby red potatoes
4 large
carrots
1 large
yellow onion
4 cups
beef broth
2 tablespoons
Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
STEP 1
Turn on the Instant Pot, select Sauté.
STEP 2
In a bowl, combine spices and rub on roast.
STEP 3
Drizzle oil in pot, sear roast for 15 minutes total.
STEP 4
Add potatoes, carrots, and onions to the pot.
STEP 5
Pour in broth and Worcestershire sauce.
STEP 6
Close lid, set to high pressure for 60 minutes.
STEP 7
Perform natural release for 10 minutes, then quick release.
STEP 8
Transfer roast and vegetables to a platter for serving.
