Iced Pumpkin Cookies
Ingredients

1/2 teaspoon
salt
1 1/2 cups
white sugar
1/2 cup
butter, softened
1 cup
canned pumpkin puree

egg
1 teaspoon
vanilla extract
2 cups
confectioners' sugar
3 tablespoons
milk
1 tablespoon
melted butter
1 teaspoon
vanilla extract
Instructions
STEP 1
Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease two cookie sheets.
STEP 2
In a medium bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
STEP 3
Cream together sugar and butter until fluffy. Add pumpkin, egg, and vanilla; beat until creamy. Mix in flour mixture until combined.
STEP 4
Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto prepared sheets; flatten slightly.
STEP 5
Bake until centers are set, 15 to 20 minutes. Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool.
STEP 6
To make icing, stir together confectioners' sugar, milk, melted butter, and vanilla in a bowl until smooth.
