Honey Garlic Chicken Stir-Fry

Ingredients
1 pound
chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
1/4 cup
soy sauce
1/4 cup
honey
3 cloves
garlic, minced
1 tablespoon
vegetable oil
1 cup
bell pepper, sliced
1 cup
broccoli florets
1 cup
carrot, julienned
2 cups
cooked rice
1 tablespoon
sesame seeds, for garnish
1/4 cup
green onions, chopped, for garnish
Instructions

Heat one tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Once hot, add the marinated chicken along with any remaining marinade. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, stirring occasionally.

Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil and sauté the bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot for about 5 minutes until tender but still crisp.

Return the chicken to the skillet, add the cooked rice, and toss everything together for another 2-3 minutes.

Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
