Grand Marnier Soufflé
Ingredients
2/3 cup

whole milk

Unsalted butter
for greasing
Crème Pâtissière
at room temperature
2 tablespoons
Grand Marnier
1 tablespoon
orange zest
6
large egg whites
Powdered sugar
for garnish
Instructions
STEP 1
Whisk together sugar, egg yolks, and vanilla until pale yellow.
STEP 2
Add flour; whisk until smooth. Boil milk and gradually add to egg mixture.
STEP 3
Return mixture to saucepan; boil, whisking constantly, for 1 minute. Cool.
STEP 4
Preheat oven to 375°F. Prepare soufflé dish with butter and sugar.
STEP 5
Mix crème pâtissière with Grand Marnier and orange zest in a bowl.
STEP 6
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into the crème pâtissière mixture.
STEP 7
Pour mixture into prepared dish; bake until puffed and golden for 40-45 minutes.
STEP 8
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve immediately.
