Fig, Artichoke & Balsamic Galette
Ingredients
1 sheet
puff pastry
1/2 cup
fig jam
1 cup
sliced artichokes
1 cup
fresh figs, sliced
2 tablespoons
balsamic vinegar
to taste
salt
to taste
pepper
Instructions
STEP 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).,
STEP 2
Roll out the pastry on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.,
STEP 3
Spread the fig jam evenly over the pastry, leaving a border around the edges.,
STEP 4
Arrange the sliced artichokes and figs on top of the jam.,
STEP 5
Drizzle balsamic vinegar over the top and sprinkle with salt and pepper.,
STEP 6
Fold the edges of the pastry over the filling, pleating as necessary.,
STEP 7
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.,
STEP 8
Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
