Easy Sausage Gravy and Biscuits
Ingredients
1 can
refrigerated jumbo buttermilk biscuits
1 package
Jimmy Dean Original Pork Sausage Crumbles
1/4 cup
flour
2 1/2 cups
milk
to taste
salt
to taste
black pepper
Instructions
STEP 1
Gather all ingredients.
STEP 2
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange biscuits 1 to 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 13 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
STEP 3
Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring frequently.
STEP 4
Stir in flour until well combined.
STEP 5
Gradually add milk while stirring continuously until the gravy thickens and boils. Simmer for 2 more minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
STEP 6
Split biscuits in half. Place 2 halves on each plate and top with about 1/3 cup of gravy.
