Instructions
STEP 1
Combine the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
STEP 2
Add water and milk; mix until smooth dough forms.
STEP 3
Mix in butter until dough is smooth and not sticky.
STEP 4
Allow dough to rise until doubled, then chill.
STEP 5
Prepare a butter block and chill.
STEP 6
Roll out the dough, encase the butter block, and fold.
STEP 7
Chill, then roll out again, and make turns to create layers.
STEP 8
Roll into desired dimensions and cut into triangles.
STEP 9
Roll triangles into crescent shapes and let proof.
STEP 10
Brush with egg yolk, bake until golden brown.
