Heat oil in a skillet. Add onion and garlic; cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Add beef and taco seasoning; cook until beef is brown, about 5 minutes. Drain extra liquid.

Heat more oil in a large skillet over low heat.

Spread a teaspoon of queso sauce onto a tortilla. Add 1/4 cup beef in the center and top with 2 tablespoons cheese. Roll and secure with a toothpick.

Place rolled tortillas into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes.

Transfer to a wire rack. Serve with salsa and enjoy!
