Crawfish Beignets

crawfish tail meat
1 cup
shredded Cheddar cheese
1 bunch
chopped green onion
1/4 cup
mayonnaise
2 cans
refrigerated biscuit dough
1 cup
vegetable oil
1 pinch
paprika
to taste
cayenne pepper
Instructions

Flatten separated biscuit dough until rectangular (about 4x5 inches).

Place 1 scoop of crawfish filling in the middle of the dough; seal and shape.

Heat oil in a deep fryer or saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Fry beignets until golden brown on all sides, about 5 minutes. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with paprika and cayenne pepper.
