Cranberry Cookies with Ginger Glaze

finely chopped dried cranberries

3 tablespoons
milk
1 teaspoon
ground ginger
1 1/2 cups
confectioners' sugar
6 tablespoons
minced crystallized ginger
Instructions
STEP 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl on low speed until combined.
STEP 2
With the mixer running, add butter 1 piece at a time until crumbly. Add vanilla, cream cheese, and cranberries; mix until large clumps form.
STEP 3
Remove dough and roll into 1-inch balls. Place on parchment-lined baking sheets, spaced 1.5 inches apart.
STEP 4
Bake for 12 minutes until lightly browned; cool on wire rack.
STEP 5
For the glaze, whisk cream cheese, milk, and ground ginger in a bowl until smooth. Add confectioners' sugar gradually, adjusting milk to desired consistency.
STEP 6
Once cookies are cooled, dip in glaze and then in crystallized ginger.
