Chocolate Cream Snack Cakes
Ingredients
1 cup
all-purpose flour
1 cup
granulated sugar
1/2 cup
unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup
unsalted butter
3 large
eggs
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1/2 cup
cream cheese
1/4 cup
powdered sugar
1 cup
semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
STEP 1
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
STEP 2
Prepare cake batter and pour into greased pan.
STEP 3
Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
STEP 4
Let cakes cool completely.
STEP 5
For the filling, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
STEP 6
Carefully slice each cake in half horizontally and fill with cream.
STEP 7
Top with remaining cake halves.
STEP 8
For the frosting, melt chocolate and mix with butter until smooth.
STEP 9
Frost the top and sides of the cake.
STEP 10
Slice and serve.
