Chocolate Caramel Slices

Ingredients

almonds
1 cup
dates
1/2 cup
almond butter
1/4 tsp
salt

dark chocolate

Add the dates and blend until the mixture is sticky and holds together.

Press the mixture into a lined baking tray and set aside.

For the caramel layer, blend the dates with almond butter and a pinch of salt until smooth.

Spread the caramel mixture over the base and place it in the fridge to set for about 30 minutes.

For the chocolate layer, melt the dark chocolate and pour it over the caramel layer.

Return to the fridge to set for another hour before slicing into squares.
