Caramel Tres Leches Bar Cake

Instructions
STEP 1
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a baking pan.
STEP 2
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
STEP 3
In another bowl, cream sugar and butter until fluffy.
STEP 4
Add eggs, vanilla extract, and mix well.
STEP 5
Gradually add dry ingredients, alternating with milk, until combined.
STEP 6
Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
STEP 7
While baking, prepare the tres leches mixture by combining condensed milk, evaporated milk, and heavy cream in a bowl.
STEP 8
Once the cake cools, poke holes in it and pour the tres leches mixture evenly over the top.
STEP 9
Let the cake absorb the mixture for at least an hour.
STEP 10
Before serving, whip heavy cream with sugar until soft peaks form and spread over the top of the cake.
