unsalted butter
Instructions
STEP 1
Gather all ingredients.
STEP 2
Mix paprika, cayenne, onion powder, salt, white and black pepper, thyme, basil, and oregano together in a bowl.
STEP 3
Brush salmon fillets with 1/4 cup butter, sprinkle with spice mixture.
STEP 4
Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet over high heat. Add salmon and cook until blackened, 2 to 5 minutes.
STEP 5
Flip fillets into melted butter and cook until blackened and fish flakes easily, about 3 to 5 minutes.
