Beef Stroganoff Recipe

top sirloin steak

olive oil
2 Tbsp
unsalted butter

medium onion
1/2 lb
brown mushrooms

garlic clove

all-purpose flour
1 cup
beef broth
3/4 cup
heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup
sour cream
1 Tbsp
Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp
dijon mustard
1/2 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
black pepper
1 Tbsp
green onion
8-12 oz
egg noodles
Instructions
STEP 1
Heat a large pan over medium-high heat.
STEP 2
Add olive oil; cook beef strips in batches until browned.
STEP 3
Remove beef; keep warm. In the same pan, add butter, onion, and mushrooms; sauté until soft.
STEP 4
Stir in garlic and flour; cook for 1 minute.
STEP 5
Pour in beef broth and cream; simmer until thickened.
STEP 6
Add sour cream, Worcestershire, mustard, salt, and pepper; stir well.
STEP 7
Return beef to the pan; heat through.
STEP 8
Serve over egg noodles; garnish with green onions.
