Baked Brie with Maple Caramelized Apples and Spiced Praline Bacon

Golden Delicious apples
3 tablespoons
pure maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon
ground cinnamon
1 (8 ounce) round
Brie cheese
1 teaspoon
chopped fresh rosemary
Instructions
STEP 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
STEP 2
Lay bacon strips in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Combine pecans, brown sugar, chili powder, and sea salt in a bowl; sprinkle over bacon.
STEP 3
Bake in the preheated oven until browned and crisp, 18 to 20 minutes. Transfer to a rack to cool. Chop bacon into pieces.
STEP 4
Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add apples and 1 tablespoon maple syrup; sauté until apples are tender, about 8 minutes. Stir in remaining maple syrup and cinnamon; transfer to a bowl.
STEP 5
Cut a round of parchment paper larger than the Brie cheese; place on a baking sheet. Place Brie on parchment; top with apples.
STEP 6
Bake for 5 minutes. Add bacon mixture on top of Brie. Bake until bubbly, 2 to 3 minutes more. Transfer to a platter; sprinkle with sea salt and rosemary.
