Apple-Flavored Pot Roast

boneless beef chuck roast
12 fluid ounces
frozen apple juice concentrate
1 dash
soy sauce
3 cloves
garlic, chopped
1 ounce
dry onion soup mix

baking potatoes, diced

carrots, peeled and sliced
Instructions
STEP 1
Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
STEP 2
Place beef in a roasting pan. Add water, apple juice concentrate, and soy sauce. Stuff slits in roast with garlic; season with onion soup mix. Cover with foil or lid.
STEP 3
Bake for 2 hours, then add carrots and potatoes. Cover and cook for another 2 hours, or until tender.
